While ethnically Sri Lankan Muslim, I was born in Croydon, England, and am culturally North American, having lived in Canada, watching American TV and film, since I was two years old.
I've mostly lived in Toronto since 1999, when I moved here for university, obtaining a BA Specialist in History and Political Science and then a Masters in History.
I dipped my toe in to acting during undergrad and a short film in 2015, but started getting theatrical experience during the pandemic.
Once in a while, I travel home to Cornwall, Ontario where my parents and my excellent DVD/Blu-Ray collection live.
